1. Nature of the Scholarship
This is a merit-based educational scholarship. No purchase guarantees selection. The £30 Supporter Membership grants eligibility only.
2. Scholarship Value
The scholarship has a total stated value of £5,555. It is not redeemable for cash, not transferable, and no cash alternatives are offered.
🌍 What the Scholarship Includes
• Six months of premium training via the World Burlesque Academy
• Three six-week challenges, selected from a suite of 28 professional courses
• Personal coaching from the founder of World Burlesque Day
• (a diverse burlesque artist who is a published author, cross-platform journalist with four full time senior sales roles in publishing and advertising securing her multi-national international brand supporters in burlesque)
• Premium in-person coaching elements
• Participation in an exclusive Celebrity Coaching Webinar, featuring:
• Top-level burlesque professionals
• Brand consultants working across luxury, media, and cultural sectors
• Tuition in music and routines written and recorded by Sapphira, Doc Moody and Tonestepa over the last four World Burlesque Days, unique cultural IP, distinct to World Burlesque Academy
• A tailored sound-healing or personal affirmation audio track, created for the recipient designed to reduce anxiety and support confidence in everyday life
• A signed A4 poster digital artwork Archive of Sapphira’s music
• A signed second edition of Burlesque or Bust, featuring a foreword by the son of Gypsy Rose Lee
• An exquisite hand painted corset valued at £1,000 by Artist Jacquie Jones. The Scholarship Recipient will chose the motif so it's to their liking. Jacquie Jones fine hand-painted scarves have been worn by HRH The Princess Royal, and whose hand-painted dresses have been worn by celebrity clientele including Claudia Schiffer (This rare garment will be accompanied with an eCertificate of Authenticity to retain its resell value)
📸 Optional Destination Photoshoot (Upgrade)
The selected recipient will be invited (optional) to participate in a world-class destination photoshoot in London or Ibiza, working with a star-studded creative team of designers, stylists, and photographers.

3. Eligibility
Applicants must:
• Be aged 18 or over
• Have access to a computer, device, and reliable internet
• Be available for programme dates
• Hold a £30 World Burlesque Exchange Network Supporter Membership
• Join the Burlesque Exchange Network on Skool on the same day as payment
• Use matching name and photo where possible
• Introduce themselves in Skool with a photo
• Engage respectfully and meaningfully
4. Communication
All scholarship-related queries must be sent to info@worldburlesqueacademy.com.
No queries will be answered via DMs or social media.
5. Behaviour & Conduct
Zero tolerance applies to bullying, trolling, harassment, or negative campaigning.
Participants agree not to publicly disparage World Burlesque Academy or Ibiza Burlesque Festival during or after participation.
6. Photoshoot & Accommodation Support
In-person photoshoot participation is optional.
A £350 accommodation contribution is payable only upon proof of receipt and is paid two weeks prior to arrival. If there is no accommodation booked as the recipient is online online this is not-transferable for cash and will not be issued.
Flights, meals, and other expenses are the responsibility of the recipient.
Online photoshoot recipients are not eligible for accommodation support or festival tickets.
7. Cancellation & Withdrawal
The organiser reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship in cases of natural disaster or travel issues.
No compensation will be offered in such cases.
8. Liability
Participants are responsible for their own wellbeing and participation capacity.
Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
